www.resurrection-online.co.uk

an online and instore shop with thier own identity and quirkiness.
so earlier this week i got in touch with the co-owner of this company, Rob, and he kindly replied to my e-mail with great news that a cardigan was on it's way for me to review, i then became very excited. unfortunately there has been a bit of a delay in putting this video up due to all the preparation and revision i've had to do for my exam which has now thankfully been and gone. but on to more a fashionable note, i received the cardigan within 3 days of them saying they'd posted the item, so they're definately reliable for postage and packing, the cardigan itself arrived in gorgeous condition as expected, alongside a lovely note from cheryl, another lady involved in the business. i done a bit of extra snooping on thier website to get a chunk of information for you guys, so you can understand how unique their company is and why i really do love it! (and for any liverpudlians out there, be sure to check their actual store out, i was gutted when i realised that if i was to venture over there, it would take me a very long while!)
resurrection clothing was founded in 1991 and has grown from a small vintage clothing store in Quiggins, Liverpool, into a garguantan store 11,000 sq ft store, now in Bold Street. (i have no clue where that is but any of you that live in or around liverpool, hopefully you'll know) they've quoted on thier website;
"we have maintained a strong identity and quirkiness with new stock and brands whilst keeping our individuality. we feel we have grown up hand in hand with our customers, which sets us apart from the clone stores and chains now around the city. over the years we have counted as our regulars all the major bands to come out of Liverpool, including The Zutons and The Coral. we are also proud to count such greats as Paul Weller, Dennis Edwards and Samuel L Jackson among our clientele."

throughout thier store they supply a broad range of brands including-
♥ levi's
♥ traffic people
♥ sasperilla
♥ fred perry
♥ dr marten's
♥ vila
♥ sugarhill boutique
plus many more!

MURIL
the cardigan itself (^) which they sent me was from a particular brand they stock, 'ICHI'
when i received the cardi, it was very bright to the eye, and in my wardrobe i don't have many bold colours, it's all very neutral clothing, but i suprised myself in how much i was drawn to this. the main colour is black and as you can see it's covered in a variety of geometric patterns and colours, including yellow diamonds, black triangles, red cross's and green stripes. it's button up all the way down, and is made out of 100% acrylic.
you can see an image of it from behind at; http://www.resurrection-online.com/extra/0009816901_1.JPG
this particular cardigan actually costs £45, and i know alot of first reactions are simply like WHAT?! but if you take into account, that the quality of this cardigan is very good, it has a wide range of qualities to it which makes it very individual, and i can guarantee that you won't find a cardigan like this in many other places, then it really is worth every single pound. it stands out from your typical 'topshop' or 'asos' knitwear, and it really is a piece of clothing which makes a statement, a very bold one indeed.
overall, i really loved this cardigan and i would definately reccomend checking there site out or having a venture into thier actual store, which you can see a tour of at this link; http://www.resurrection-online.com/fun/video-online-store-tour.html
thier site is very well layed out and very appealing to the eye, and if you do check out thier online store tour, then you'll see thier individuality and quirkiness really coming across.
i hope you enjoyed this and a big thanks to cheryl and rob for returning my e-mail and sending me the cardigan, make sure you check them out and i'll post the link to our video review of the cardigan below too!
ciao!
