flawless you forever

earlier this week, i received seven different products from a fairly new cosmetics brand, 'FYF', (which stands for 'flawless you forever'- a very cute name for a make-up brand!)
the items came within about 24hrs of passing over my address to the contact i got in touch with, it came in gorgeous packaging and every item was individually wrapped. all the products arrived together in a sweet pink bag, individually wrapped in matching pink tissue paper and the products own box/packaging.
FYF is a fairly new company which have spent some years researching to deliver ethical, safe, premium, affordable products for their customers. their main aim, and what they are passionate about is having the ability to make women feel and look through the quality of their products.
they're also a very socially responsible company, and take time and pride in the delivery of safe products which can be applied without affecting or irritating skin, (the founder of the company was actually a skin specialist, giving this company that extra advantage on the outcome of the products!)

the majority of the products i reviewed were for the face, however i did receive a nail enamel/varnish in a very gorgeous deep red, the colour being called "Prague", it looks extremely sophisticated on which is a great thing! i've been wearing this varnish for the past couple of days and i'm pleased to say there are no signs of chips or marks, so it definately proves itself to be long lasting, it's easy to apply and gives off a bold, sheen finish. all the nail varnishes retail at £5.61, a very reasonable price for such a long-lasting varnish, they do a range of different colours which i will definately be looking further into.

the two air base foundations were fairly similar colour wise, i received two different shades, "702 cashmere" and "703 chiffon", both were oil free, lightweight, liquid foundations. they're very easy to apply and blend in really well with my skin tone, (i'd say i have a sort of mid-tone, with freckles and blotches), overall they provided a flawless all round coverage and really settled well onto my skin, with no irritations or obvious "she's wearing foundation" giveaways. all their face products are very versatile and can be suited to more than one skin type/shade and complexion; my mum also tried both foundations on and she found that mixed together they provided the perfect shade for her, and she is alot darker than me. i'm really impressed with this product, it's not often you find a lightweight foundation that gives off the image of a beautiful complexion, definate two big thumps up for these! this particular foundation retails for £12.48, a reasonable price for the quality of the product however for the actual quantity; with it being a 12ml bottle, it does push the boundaries
a bit! however, i do love this product!

the two floral blushes were absolutely gorgeous, the layout of them, the contrast of the tones, everything about them was perfect, until i put the darker shade on my face- you definately do only need a little amount.

Summer Berry

both blushers can be doubled up as eyeshadows, the 'Autumn' shade (pink, gold, brown tones), looked awesome as a smoky eye when i was experimenting, it was very bold and made a statement, but with the foundation gave a healthy, glowing look. the other shade i received, 'Summer Berry' was alot bolder than the other one, with the dark purple being a very strong tone. i personally preferred the 'Autumn' shade, as with my features- freckles, light brown hair, golden skin tone- they were very complimenting. this retails at £11.85, quite an expensive price, it could be questioned whether the quality of this blush is worth that price, but there is nothing major to fault about them, i did generally quite like them.

Autumn

the final few products i received were the foundation stick and the mineral loose powder. the foundation stick was great at overall coverage underneath my eye and on the nose, chin, forehead. however it is sold and described as having the conveniece of 4 essential products in a sleek tube- concealer, foundation, powder and sunscreen. personally i preferred it just as a concealer as underneath the powder it did look really great and gave that flawless finishing touch. the foundation stick is quite pricey, however on the skin it feels gorgeous and velvety, and unlike many other concealers, it doesn't dry your skin out, so the quality is up to mac standard, however i didn't like it spread across my face it didn't give off an as flawless complexion. the mineral loose powder was the product i was most excited about receiving, and it definately does live it up to many of the great reviews i've heard about it, it looked gorgeous on. it gave a great finish without my skin feeling clogged up, it's great for a natural daytime look, or as a setting over liquid foundation, both gave off a stunning finish, and for £17.47, you definately are buying for quality, big big big thumbs up!

foundation stick, stunning coverage, (retails at £15.59)

mineral loose powder, "nude"

overall i'd definately reccomend all these products, they're of such high quality and one colour caters for a range of different complexions. all products can be bought of of their website, http://www.flawlessyouforever.com/, and shipping worldwide is free, another bonus!
if your looking for a great new make-up brand and flawless coverage and skin, check out their products!
